Why I started a Japanese tea brand?

When I experienced Japanese tea abroad, I felt that its true taste was not fully being conveyed. Yet, Japanese tea continues to grow in popularity— and that realization became the beginning of this journey.

That is why I am committed to sharing authentic Japanese tea with the world, crafted by Japanese hands, bringing you moments of calm and inner peace.

The History of the Shizuoka Makinohara Plateau

The Makinohara Plateau was once a barren land that was transformed by former samurai after the Meiji Restoration in 1868. After losing their roles, they devoted themselves with passion and determination to cultivating tea on the plateau, overcoming harsh conditions. Today, Makinohara is known as one of Japan's most important tea-growing regions, producing rich and flavorful tea rooted in this history and spirit.
